Councillors elect Mayor and Deputy Mayor

Tamworth Regional Councillors have tonight elected Councillor Russell Webb as Mayor and Councillor Jeff Budd as Deputy Mayor.

The Mayoral term is two years while the Deputy Mayor role is for a term of 12 months.

The first Ordinary Meeting of the new Council will be on Tuesday 22 October at 6.30pm in the Nemingha Room of the former Lands Building in Fitzroy Street, Tamworth.

It is open to the community to attend. The meeting it also streamed through Council’s Facebook page.
