It's time to shine a light on those in the Tamworth region who deserve acknowledgement for their achievements and nominate them for either the annual Local Legends Awards and/or Sports Awards.
Contributions to our community are highlighted through the Local Legends Awards while the Sports Awards celebrate our sporting champions or administrators.
Sports awards categories are: Junior and Senior Sports Stars of the Year, Coach of the Year, Junior and Senior Sports Teams of the Year, Sports Development, Ken McKenzie Award for services to sport, Cara Hickson Award for special achievement, and the Local Achiever Award.
The Local Legends include: Volunteer of the Year (youth and adult), Access (business, community or individual), Community Inclusion, Sustainability, Performing Arts and Visual Arts.
