Message from the Mayor
We are reviewing the Tamworth Regional Council Strategic Plan (CSP) which is a requirement of the Local Government Act (1993) and Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework. Our CSP is known as 'Our Community Plan' because it is owned by you, the community, and we are asking for your input to set the direction for the new Councillors who will be elected later this year.

Get involved in our Water Security Plan
Time is running out to get involved in the first phase of engagement for the Tamworth Water Security Plan, with community and business surveys due to close on Friday 26 July. While this is just the first of three phases of engagement, it’s the phase where we gather a strong understanding of what our community values about water. This will guide the development of options and the final plan, so we are keen to hear from as many people as possible.

Parking shifts into gear
Last September we asked for your feedback on car parking around the region. After taking all your suggestions and comments on board, Council staff have worked extensively to use that data to help shape the draft Tamworth Regional Parking Strategy.
