Change to traffic conditions: Scour protection work Peel Street

Scour protection repair work will be undertaken on the Peel River bank, between O’Connell Street and Macquarie Street, from 7am Thursday 9th January – 6pm Friday 24th January 2025.

Both driving lanes in this section of Peel Street will be open to traffic between 13 January and 24 January, with some minor interruptions to traffic expected between 9 and 13 January to allow establishment of equipment on the northbound lane shoulders.

Users of the shared path will also be asked to wait when necessary during the works.

Works will occur Monday to Friday 7 am – 6 PM and Saturday 8am- 1pm.
