Street Vending and Street Appeal Application Form
This form is for anyone wishing to apply to conduct a Street Appeal or Street Vending on Tamworth Regional Council footpaths.
Street Appeals
Tamworth organisations only or from those that are established in the Tamworth Regional Council area to conduct street appeals in Tamworth for registered charities and legitimate fundraising activities. Street Vending
Event
The erection of a structure in, on or over a public road/road reserve and located in a built-up area, for the purpose of selling any article or service, not associated with a business in an existing property subject to a DA – e.g. Mens Health Van, Westpac Helicopter BBQ trailer - click here for full description (PDF 187.5KB).
Outdoor Dining Licence
Outdoor dining is regulated by Section 127 of the Roads Act 1993 and Council's policies and procedures. Council's policies are available upon request and can be viewed here. In order to use Council's road reserve for outdoor dining, it is necessary to submit an application for a licence to do so.
You must provide with your application:
- the full legal name of the operator of the business;
- the address of the premises;
- a plan showing the proposed location of the outdoor furniture;
- a list and description of the proposed outdoor furniture; and
- payment of the application fee as set out in Council's fees and charges.
Should the application be approved, you will then be provided with a licence for a term of three (3) years. You need to sign the licence, and return it to Council with a Certificate of Currency for your public liability insurance in an amount not less than $20 million noting Council's interest.
