T062-2025 Cooper Street Barraba Sewer Pump Station Electrical Upgrade Design and Construction

Council invites Interested Parties to lodge a tender for the upgrade of the electrical equipment at the Cooper Street Sewer Pump Station (SPS), Barraba.

Cooper Street SPS is a critical piece of infrastructure in the Tamworth Regional Council (TRC) sewer network. The station features two (2) pumps; transferring raw sewage to the Barraba Sewer Treatment Plant.

The electrical equipment is at end of life and the SPS is at risk of flooding during extreme rain events. To reduce the risk to TRC and the Community, The switchboard is to be upgraded and located on a platform outside the pump station building.

The scope of works includes the complete design (IFC and shop drawings), manufacturer, supply, installation, demolition, testing and commissioning of all equipment included within the contract documentation and detailed within the Specification.
