Road Closures: Tamworth Country Music Festival

2025 Tamworth Country Music Festival will be held Friday 17 January to Sunday 26 January 2025, and will affect Carter Street and Plain Street in the Riverside Sporting Grounds, and Peel Street, Kable Avenue, Fitzroy Street,  in the CBD.

These streets will close and open on the following times and dates, to allow for set up and pack down of participants.

CLOSURE SET ONE

a) Carter Street, btw Plain Street and Bridge Street – 10/01, 7am to 28/01, 6am

b) Plain Street, btw Ebsworth Street and Carter Street – 10/01, 7am to 28/01, 6am

CLOSURE SET TWO

a) Fitzroy St - btw Peel & Kable - 12/01, 6am to 28/01, 7pm

b) Fitzroy St - btw Smith Pl & Peel St - 14/01, 5am to 28/01, 7pm

c) Kable Ave - btw Brisbane & south of Fitzroy St - 14/01, 5am to 28/01, noon.

c) Peel St - btw White & Brisbane - 15/01, 4pm to 27/01, 7pm.

CLOSURE SET THREE: COUNTRY MUSIC PARADE, 6am to 11am

a)  Peel Street – btw Murray & White St;

b) Roderick Street – btw Kable Ave & Byrnes Ave;

c) White Street – btw Peel St & Kable Ave;

d) Kable Ave – btw Peel St & Fitzroy St.
