2024 A Winter’s Night - Stallholder Application Form

 

Food and market stallholders are welcome to apply to be part of A Winter’s Night Street event. The event will be held on Peel Street between Brisbane and Bourke Streets and aims to bring festivities, music and visitors to the CBD at a time the street is traditionally less busy.

This event is being coordinated by Tamworth Regional Council and proudly funded by the NSW Government in association with Tamworth Regional Council.

Site fees

There are no site fees for food and market stall traders. This event is being coordinated by Tamworth regional Council.

* Please specify what power you require on the following form - if we don't know in advance, you run the risk of not having sufficient power on the day. If you supply your own leads/power boards, they must all be tagged and tested.

Stall information

Please specify exactly what you intend to sell. You are not permitted to change what you plan to sell after this application has been submitted without approval.

Applications close on Thursday, 25 July 2024 at 5pm.

This event will be held at night, please ensure you have lighting in your marquee or van so that you can operate at night. Street lighting is usually not adequate if you have a marquee.
Power requirements
There may be a fee for power if you require more than 2 x 10amp or 2 x 15amp outlets. The fee will be calculated once stall applications are closed and will be determined on a cost recovery basis only if a generator is required to be hired.

  • All leads must be tagged and tested
  • If you are cooking onsite, you must have an appropriate fire extinguisher and fire blanket

Food Stalls
Will you be cooking on site?* - required
Does the stall use gas?* - required
If yes, please note gas bottles must be no greater than 9kg capacity. Must have a flame guard, be pressure tested and date stamped within the last ten years. 
Are staff trained in Safe Food Handling?* - required

All Food stall holders must adhere to the Guidelines for Mobile Food Vending Vehicles or  Guidelines for Food Businesses at Temporary Events – whichever is applicable.
