Disability Access Working Group - Expression of Interest
What is the Disability Access Working Group?
The Disability Access Working Group is a group of community members from a diverse range of disability backgrounds and members of Tamworth Regional Council who work together to guide, monitor and evaluate the development and implementation of the Disability Inclusion Action Plan. The working group will also provide strategic advice to the Council on access issues to ensure a future Tamworth will offer an enhanced quality of life and prosperity for people with disability in alignment with Council’s Blueprint 100 vision.
- Council is asking community members to apply to be part of the group and be involved in the development and implementation of the Disability Inclusion Action Plan
- Council will review all Expression of Interest applications and select members to be part of the group
- The frequency of the meetings is quarterly for a scheduled two-hour meeting
- Confidentiality is to be maintained by all members of the Group (for full details please read the Terms of Reference below)
